O terceiro dia de ações com a Ploc! no Loucura Total foi de longe o mais afude. Pra começar o personagem era um zumbi, meu tema favorito e onde eu me sinto mais a vontade.Sem falar que é a máscara mais confortável e que permite melhor visão, então eu tinha praticamente toda mobilidade pra azucrinar dentro do Shopping Total. O figurino era completo, mas eu sentia falta de ter algo pra segurar e encher o saco dos transeuntes, entrei na loja e pedi uma sacola com o logo deles. Agora eu era um zumbi indo as compras e não ficava limitado a frente da loja, interagindo com ambos andares do lugar. The third day of action with the Ploc! Store was by far the best. To start the character was a zombie, my favorite subject and the way I feel more confortable.Not to mention its the best fitting mask wich allow me the best vision, so I had pratically the whole mobility to goofy around inside the Total mall. The costume was complete but I was feeling the lack of something to hold and to annoy the people passing by, I got inside the store and asked for a bag with their logo. Now I was a zombie going to consume and I wasnt limited to the front of the store anymore, interacting with both floors of the whole place. me and Pippi, one of the store owners. esse guri tava se divertindo demais com a minha presença! now this kid was having a blast with my presence! waiting, as always... mostrando todo meu suingue showing all my swing pessoas ducaralho! real nice people! valeu por tudo, Gabi! toda galera da Ploc! the whole Ploc crew! minha foto preferida my favorite pic theres a lot more coming from a professional camera, keep on checking!

Eu tenho brincado um pouco no Movie Maker, tenho tudo pra aprender. Tenho filmado com minha camera fotográfica, então ainda tenho dificuldade pra fazer os movimentos de maneira adequada. Ive been playing a little on Movie Maker, I have everything to learn. Ive been filming with my photo camera, so I still have some dificulties to make the movementsin a nice, subtle way.

The Slaytanic Wehrmacht project - part XII

Em ritmo de natal fiz um emblema pro projeto Slaytanic utilizando um badge da divisão Panzer e a águia do Slayer.Substituí o número 50 por um 666 e montei com algumas fotos minhas na Zombie Walk.Será que agora to pensando em esculpir o badge?hehehe

In total "christ my ass" rhythm I did and emblem for the Slaytanic Project utilizing one badge from the Panzer division and the Slayer eagle.I switched the number 50 original for a 666 and mounted with a couple shots of me on Zombie Walk.

Porto Alegre Zombie Walk 2011 part I - Leo Dias portraits

Por problemas particulares eu tinha descartado participar da Zombie Walk este ano.
A máscara que eu ia preparar não chegou a ser feita(ainda)e eu já tinha me conformado de ficar de fora pela primeira vez.Só que nos últimos dias eu tava organizando fotos de ZW passadas de pessoas que eu maquiei e isso tava sendo uma tortura, chegou o tradicional segundo sábado de dezembro e as coisas por aqui pareciam tranquilas e eu não me sentia culpado por ir.
As 3:50 da tarde resolvi que não seria esta a primeira vez que uma Zombie Walk em Porto Alegre ia acontecer sem mim, dez minutos depois eu estava a bordo do ônibus, desta vez levando apenas minha máscara,capacete e cruz de ferro do projeto Slaytanic Wehrmacht.
Desta vez sem material pra maquiar ninguém nem mesmo sangue, decidi participar na ultima hora,literalmente.
Poucos depois embarcam dois meninos totalmente caracterizados, sangrentos e preparados, foi ali que eu senti que estava fazendo a coisa certa.Preciso dizer que sem exceção, todos os anos nessa época algo da errado na minha vida e a Zombie Walk recarrega minhas energias.Bem, 2011 foi sem duvidas o pior ano da minha vida e se existe um momento onde eu precise me animar,é agora.
Fiquei maravilhado com a quantidade de gente, eramos muitos zumbis, todos muito divertidos,todos muito amigáveis.Ver crianças,senhores e senhoras e nerds de todos os tipos,tamanhos e cores encarnando zumbis sem dúvidas é o que eu precisava pra aguentar firme mais um pouco e seguir uma batalha que eu espero que ninguém nunca passe.Mas que muitos passam.
Quero agradecer especialmente ao Ruínas por me pilhar,a Natashe,a Flavia e o Xico.A todos os fotógrafos, e em especial a Kasha, tuas palavras de apoio significaram muito mais do que tu imagina ou eu possa expressar.

Due particular problems I wasnt going to participate on Porto Alegre´s Zombie Walk this year.
The mask I had planed still hasnt been made(but it will) and I was already conformed to be out for the first time.But in the latest days I was selecting pics of people Ive made up on the previous years and it was a torture, the traditional second saturday of December came and things over here seemed nice and easy and I wasn’t feeling guilty to leave for a moment.
3:50 I decided it wouldn’t be the first time a Zombie Walk happened In Porto Alegre without me, ten minutes later I was onboard a bus, this time bringing along only my mask,helmet and iron cross from the “Slaytanic Wehrmacht project”.
This time no material for make up and not even any blood, I decided to participate on the last minute, literally!
Soon enough came abord my bus two guys all made up, all bloody and messed up, right on spot I thought I had made a good choice.I have to tell that with no exception, something goes wrong in my life by this time every fucking year and the Zombie Walk recharge my energy.Well, no doubt 2011 was the worst year of my life and if there is a time I need a full recharge is now!
I was so amazed with the amount of people who showed up, there were a lot of zombies, everyone so fun and friendly.To see children, gents and ladies and nerds of all types, sizes and colors being zombies with no doubt is what I needed hold on still for a little longer and keep myself together for a battle I wish no one ever comes through.But that a lot of us do.
I want to say special thanks to my big brother Ruínas for the support, Natashe,Flavia and Xico.All the photographers and specially Kasha, whose words are beyond my description and that I seriously doubt she knows how much confort I felt.
